Kyoto again

Last July 20 to 21, I went to Kyoto with my labmate, Koma-chan. It was a very fast trip, most of which was spent in the conference Koma-chan was attending.

We didn't visit many places but glad I had the chance to go to those which I haven't been to the last time I visited Kyoto.

Coffee garden

This post is for my friend, Crazy. We are dreaming this small dainty coffee shop someday, when we're done swinging our lives away. It would be interesting to run a cafe someday, just like this one I found while walking around Jiyugaoka yesterday.

At first glance, you'd initially think it is a potted-flower shop. Then, if you pay a little more attention, a young attractive lady wearing a crispy apron will greet you from the wooden door.

What better way to kill time than spending it here, right?

For the life of me, I forgot the name. I'll try this next time. The ambient music was also nice, by the way.

July 09 Ear Candy: The Killer's Day and Age

I think that the best album of The Killers so far is 'Day and Age', although their debut album 'Hot Fuss' was a total blast because of 'Mr. Brightside' and 'Somebody Told Me'. On the other hand, 'Sam's Town', like a second child in the brood, was accepted rather lightly.

Anyway, I have been listening to 'Day and Age' everyday on my way to the school. My favorite song in the album is 'I Can't Stay'.

Though the song is kinda funky and upbeat, I feel a little sad about it. Probably because of the lyrics. Which keeps me thinking now why I always listen to music which makes me feel sad. Whhyyy, Mike, whyyyy?!? haha

The dorm now is one fucking sad place. Felipe, my ultimo amigo, has moved to his new house the other day. So I got nobody to "trouble with" anymore. Well, except for Zixian Zhang a.k.a. "Professor Balls", but he's kinda dangerous. I swear you don't wanna mess with him. haha..

Anyway, in a few weeks, I'll be moving to a new place myself. I'm looking forward to it now. I can't say I'm excited, but what else can I do, 'I can't stay' much any longer here.
